Note from dog
Normally, I hand NOTE FROM DOG over to a pup who has earned a starring role in a current story, but this time around, I asked them if I might have their permission to write this NOTE because a lot has happened since we sent our last one at the end of November.

Selena came to Billie’s Buddies a year ago as a feral dog. She was unsocialized and shut down with fear. She just wanted to melt into the floor and become invisible so no one could see her. She needed some intensive work, and she spent over a month getting professional help to bring her out of her shell. Once she realized she was safe, Selena slowly blossomed and is now a typical silly and happy pup!

Selena may be nervous at times, but her eyes will let you know how loving and what a curious sweetheart she is. She’s so intelligent and a very quick learner. Selena’s ideal home has at least one other dog . . . she will benefit from the companionship and comfort that other pets can provide. She also needs someone who can be very patient with her as she settles in. She may be nervous at first. Selena is housebroken, loves her crate, and walks great on the leash. She is food motivated, which is super helpful with training and exposing her to new things.

Selena is an incredible girl who loves belly rubs, sunbathing, and nap time cuddles. Whoever adopts her will be very lucky. Don’t wait. Hit the adopt button now.
