The Black Lab Cafe will be coming to New York City’s Upper West Side in March 2022, giving foodies and dog lovers alike a common place of interest. The much anticipated opening has been delayed due to the pandemic.
Owned by Lise Evans and her sons Kris and Nikolas Powers, the menu was inspired by the fresh food diet enjoyed by the family’s black Labrador Retrievers, Daisy and Lola. Working with veterinarians and food formulators, they created a fresh gourmet dog food that will be sold at the cafe. For the humans accompanying their canine friends, the cafe will serve light fare consisting of sandwiches, salads, fresh juices, and smoothies.
The Black Lab Cafe has also been designed with events in mind. The family expects to host pet-related events such as adoption drives, dog birthday parties, etc.
The cafe will be located on 80th and Amsterdam in Manhattan. This story was first reported by West Side Spirit.
