Katie Couric now grandma to puppy

Longtime TV personality Katie Couric is now a grandma – sort of. Her daughter Ellie just recently adopted a Wheaten Terrier named Ricky, whom Couric shared lots of photos of on her Instagram story last week.

“I have a new grandpuppy!” one caption read, in all caps with many exclamation points.

Couric has done multiple stories on therapy dogs throughout her career, and she has had at least two dogs of her own, Maisie and Cooper.
