Nikki Reed Shares Story of Adopting Sequoia

Actress Nikki Reed and her husband, Lost alum Ian Somerhalder, are known dog lovers, which she recently proved in a social media update.

In an Instagram post, Reed shared a photo of herself hugging Sequoia, along with a touching story of how the white dog was adopted.

A year ago the Twilight actress dreamed that she had a six-month-old white shepherd dog, though she promised her family that she wouldn’t actively search for this heart dog, as their house was very full already. Months go by, and the LA-based rescue the Labelle Foundation posts the photo of that dream dog, and instantly the dog had a foster home.

After a trial period with the various human kids, cats and chickens, the dog joined their family as the newest pet.
