The First Dog Park in the Metaverse

Get Joy, an Austin, Texas-based dog food company that sells healthy nutrition products, will be opening a virtual dog park in the Metaverse in April. The park will be called Get Joy Dog Zone and will be focused on creating communities with dog owners.

The ultimate goal for Get Joy is to inspire and promote a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle for your dog. The company has until now been focused on providing nutrition. But for a healthy life, dogs should also get plenty of exercise, play, and socialization. So they are looking to virtually meet up with the public to solve the real-world problem of dysfunctional and inadequate dog parks. 

The Get Joy Dog Zone will also host events and non-profit activities. They hope to promote dog wellness in the virtual community and will use this space as a beta test for the development of ultimate healthy K9 living. Eventually, the company hopes to open commerce through the Get Joy Dog Zone which will be in the virtual world of Decentraland.
